"I owe my life to FPA and Karla Marie!"

Roy's favorite quote - Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right.

Henry Ford.

From High-School Dropout to Making $60k the First Month After Quitting His Job.

Roy is not a writer. He's actually a high school dropout. He started Kindle publishing in May 2016 when he got sick and tired of not being able to get promoted anymore.  At 36 he was told he was as high as he could go working for the government.

Tired of living week to week he wanted to start an internet business, he took four publishing courses before FPA and was failing miserably. Then joined FPA, and one month later he published his first fiction ebook. 30 Days later he made his first 20k profit. The month after he made another 20k. The next month he told his wife, "If I don't quit my job, I'll never make it."

May 2017 he quit his job and the next month he made 60k that month from publishing.

This is a business, and it comes with risk. We share real student results, but big earnings are rare and NOT typical. In a July 2025 survey, of the 1,583 who responded, 483 had published at least one book, and some had published 21 or more. Average monthly earnings by books published were: 1 book – $90 (178 students), 2–3 books – $368 (188 students), 4–5 books – $185 (142 students), 6–9 books – $827 (134 students), 10–14 books – $3,039 (87 students), 15–20 books – $2,475 (35 students), and 21+ books – $6,064 (18 students). In every group, some earned nothing and a few earned much more. We guarantee no income. Your results depend on your effort, skills, resources, and market conditions.
